How a booking is made
Looking needs no account. Booking needs your own ServeCounter sign-in.
You ask your assistant
Name the business, the service and when you would like to go.
It looks up the business
It finds the services, prices and free times. No sign-in is needed.
You sign in to ServeCounter
You sign in yourself, so your assistant can prepare a booking for you.
It gives you a link
Nothing is booked yet. The link opens your booking to check.
You confirm it
You check the seller and the terms, tick two boxes and press the button.

How search results are ordered
Nearest first, when the assistant gives a location. Then the earliest free time, when it names a day. Then by name, A to Z.
A city alone only narrows the list. No business can pay to be listed higher.
For business owners
Assistant booking is on for every business. You can switch it off.
Switch it off
Under Online, Assistants. While it is off, assistants cannot find or book your business. Your booking page works as before.
Only with a payment up front
A second switch refuses assistant bookings that ask for nothing to be paid. It is off until you turn it on.
In your Calendar
The booking shows "Booked by an assistant". It is the same booking in every other way.
What it cannot do
Open your Calendar, customers, sales, settings or reports. Act for your staff. Pay for a booking.
For customers
Your assistant prepares the booking. You make it.
Always in your name
The booking is for the person who signed in, whatever name your assistant sends.
Nothing booked without you
Only when you tick both boxes and press the button is it booked.
You pay, not your assistant
A payment asked up front is made on the booking page the link opens.
Withdraw within 14 days
You get back what you paid. Once the service has started, you pay for what was done.
Move or cancel
Use the link in your confirmation email. The business's own rules apply.
Stop an assistant
In your ServeCounter account, under Your data, Assistants you allowed. Choose Remove.
