Your address
Your booking page lives at yourname.servecounter.com. Customers choose the barber or any barber, the service and its variant, any add-ons and a time. Times that are taken are never offered. If you want your own domain, such as boeken.yourname.nl, that is part of Complete.
From the link in their confirmation, customers can move or cancel their booking. See No-shows and cancelling.
Publishing
Until you publish, only you can see your booking page, and nothing can be booked. Open Online, Booking page, check the preview, then choose Publish. The first time, ServeCounter asks "Ask customers to pay when booking?".
What customers pay when they book
Set this once per location under Online, Booking page:
- Not needed: customers pay when they come in.
- Deposit: a percentage or a fixed amount.
- Full amount: the whole price when booking.
- Customer chooses: pay now in full, or pay a deposit now and the rest when they come in.
A service can follow the business setting or have its own. In the starter list, the hot towel shave is paid in full when booked online. Online payments and deposits need Booking + POS. The deposit and the no-show fee work together: see No-shows and cancelling.
The share kit
Open Online, Share your booking page. It is part of every option.
- Your link. Copy it or open it.
- Message to your regulars. A short text with your link added. It leaves from your own phone, by WhatsApp or text message, and ServeCounter sends nothing.
- Poster. A PDF with your logo, name and colours and a QR code. Download A4 for the window or A6 for the counter. Choose the headline: Book online, Scan to book, Book your next visit, or a line of your own up to 24 characters.
- Where to put your link. Short guides for Instagram and for Google Business Profile. For Google, turn it on per location in Book buttons.
Customers can also keep your booking page on their phone's home screen, so they can book again and see their reminders from there.
