How do I move my customers to a new booking system?

Export your customers and appointments as a file from the old system, then import it. You check every row before anything is added.

Which file do I need?

An Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file. Most systems export one. Export customers and appointments from the old system.

What comes over?

What imports, and how it comes over
WhatHow it comes over
CustomersMatched by phone or email. Existing customers get empty fields filled. Nothing is overwritten.
AppointmentsFuture ones are booked. Past visits become read-only history. No customer gets a message.
Services and pricesFrom a spreadsheet, a PDF or photos of your price list.
ProductsFrom a spreadsheet, with name and price.

Does my customer get a message?

No. Importing appointments sends no message.

Can I undo an import?

Yes, for 7 days, for customers and appointments. Undo removes only customers from that import with no appointment or sale since.

Does an import cost anything?

No. Imported history carries no booking fee.

What do I do with my booking link?

Your booking link is yourname.servecounter.com. Put it where the old link was.
